Musk is also a proud pro-natalist, expressing concerns about a “population collapse” and advocating for increased birth rates. He has 12 children with three different women and various surrogates, and there may even be a 13th child according to recent claims. Three of his children are with his ex-girlfriend, Canadian singer Claire Elise Boucher, known as Grimes. While Grimes gave birth to their first child, the other two were born via surrogate.
When Grimes started dating Musk, it raised many eyebrows, not just because of the age gap. She was regarded as a feminist icon in the music industry, known for supporting other female and queer artists. She had the term “anti-imperialist” in her Twitter bio, which she famously removed after appearing publicly at the Met Gala on Musk’s arm. Last year, she opened up about the custody battle with Musk, sharing how she spent a year locked in a fight in a state with poor mothers’ rights, with her Instagram posts and modeling work being used against her in the battle for custody. She also mentioned not seeing one of her babies for five months and that much of her experience couldn’t be made public.
