College Republicans’ Response
The College Republicans of America issued a statement saying that Walker’s comment on Barron “does not align with the values and principles upheld by our organization” and was “inappropriate.” Moreover, the organization’s president, Will Donahue, extended an invitation to Barron to join its NYU branch, stating that “Barron Trump represents the future of the conservative movement, and we would be honored to have him join College Republicans of America.”
Barron’s School Life and Reputation
The Daily Mail went to the NYU campus last year to talk with students. One student speculated that Barron might need to change his outlook to fit in, suggesting that if he was interested in girls at NYU, he might become more liberal. Another student said their mom would want them to marry him, while a third felt bad for him as he didn’t choose this life in the spotlight. A fourth student said she wouldn’t judge him as he’s his own person and would consider a friendship with him. According to a People Magazine source, Barron is well-liked among the girls, described as a “ladies man” and popular with them due to his tall and handsome appearance.
