After the mother’s murder-suicide involving all her children and the subsequent death of the last surviving daughter, the father finally speaks out

He wrote, “The level of devastation we are feeling and going through is immense. We kindly ask that everyone give all the families involved the time and space they need during this extremely difficult period of our lives. Funeral arrangements and any updates that we think the public should be aware of will be posted on my Facebook page and also on the GoFundMe page. Speaking of that, from the bottom of our hearts, we are truly grateful to each and every person who has donated, prayed, and fasted for us, our family, and our beautiful Olivia. Your kindness and generosity have been overwhelming, and we simply ask that you continue to keep us in your prayers and thoughts. The only solace I find is knowing that my babies won’t have to be separated from one another and that they can now be with their other sisters.”

Previously, Quinn Blackmer had told KTVQ that he was “furious” with Harshman. He added, “I’m trying my hardest to put that aside for now and focus on the present, because that anger won’t bring my child back.”

Olivia’s stepmom, Katelynn Blackmer, also shared the tragic news through a GoFundMe page that was set up to cover Olivia’s medical expenses as well as the funeral arrangements for the children. She wrote, “Olivia is with her sisters now. She earned her angel wings yesterday at 3:44 pm. She fought so, so hard until the very last minute! Her body and brain had endured so much. Medication helped for a while, but eventually, we reached a point where all medical options were exhausted and her condition only continued to worsen. She kept fighting through it all until her heart stopped. We’re grateful that she held on for as long as she did, as it gave us some precious time with our sweet baby girl over the last five days. We want to thank each and every one of you for your prayers and support for our family. We’re in a tough situation with the tragic passing of both daughters. We took some time as a family to grieve and be in the moment before sharing this news with the world, but we wanted to let you all know as we’re truly thankful for everything you’ve done.”
