Barron Trump has been studying at Stern Business School at New York University for about six months. When his father was sworn in as the 47th US President on January 20, he took some days off from school, but now he’s back to continue his studies.
He is escorted by several Secret Service agents while attending school. The 18-year-old is often seen walking around campus with a black backpack, which seems to have a significant meaning related to his new life.
Before appearing with his father to celebrate the presidential election victory last November, Barron had been out of the spotlight for years. Due to his height and his family background, he has always drawn global attention, and that interest has grown as he entered adulthood.
Several NYU students shared their views about him. Some said he’s become very popular among the ladies. One student speculated that if he’s interested in girls, he might change his outlook on life to fit in as he’s at NYU. Another student mentioned that their mom would want them to marry him. However, not everyone is positive about him being at NYU. One student said she would “absolutely not” be friends with him, citing privilege differences as she’s at the school with financial aid.
