Ingredients:
For the Meat “Crusts”:
- 4 lbs ground beef
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (optional)
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp onion powder
For the Burger Filling:
- 2 lbs ground beef, cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup sautéed onion
- Optional: sliced pickles, diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce
For the Cheese Layers:
- 16–24 slices cheddar cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
For the Burger Sauce:
- 1 cup ketchup
- ½ cup yellow mustard
- 4 tbsp mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp relish (optional)
For the Pizza Topping:
- 1 cup pizza sauce or marinara
- 8–12 oz pepperoni slices (optional)
Directions:
- Make the Meat Crusts:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Combine all crust ingredients in a bowl. Divide into two equal portions and press into two round “pizza crusts” on greased pans.
Bake each for 20–25 minutes. Drain any grease and let them cool slightly. - Layer the First Crust:
On one crust, add half the crumbled beef, half the onions, optional toppings, then cheddar slices.
Drizzle with half the burger sauce, spread half the pizza sauce, and top with half the mozzarella and half the pepperoni. - Repeat on Second Crust:
Build the second crust the same way using the remaining ingredients. - Stack & Bake Again:
Carefully stack one pizza over the other. Return to the oven for 20–30 minutes until melted and bubbly. - Cool, Slice & Serve:
Let rest 5–10 minutes before slicing. Serve hot and dig in!
