Mom Horrified After Finding ‘Disturbing’ Hidden Messages On Daughter’s Dress
A mom has been left horrified after finding ‘disturbing’ messages written on a dress she bought for her daughter.
Mom Savannah has now issued a warning to all parents, after finding hidden messages embroidered onto a dress she had purchased for her little girl.
The child’s dress, on the surface level, was sweetly decorated with bunnies, jelly beans, chickens, and handwritten notes.
But after having a closer look at the text, she was completely ‘disgusted’ by her findings, and later took to TikTok to warn other parents.
Savannah noted that she took a look at the messages when her daughter was taking a nap one afternoon, and was completely horrified.
The clip now has over 23 million views, with parents questioning how on earth the item was legally marketed to children.
Savannah urged parents to ‘look at your kids’ clothing carefully before you buy them.’
“WTF,” one of the top responses read, reflecting the overall sentiment in the 20,000+ comments.
“Where did you get that?” another asked.
Another wrote: “The world is so p**verted now.”
As a fourth claimed: “This was clearly intentional. The company needs to be investigated. I wonder how long they have been doing this.”
Another outraged viewer noted: “We shouldn’t have to read our kids clothes just to make sure there’s no inappropriate stuff on it, this so wrong.”
The dress had a number of s**ually-charged comments scattered around it.
One note on the garment read: “Want to have an Easter egg hunt under the covers?”
While another said: “This coupon entitles you to one free peep show!”
“Let’s pretend we’re rabbits and do whatever comes naturally,” said another message.
As a different one read: “My tulips (two lips) want to be on your tulips.”
Savannah noted that the weirdest was: “You’ve been the best husband and friend a girl could have ever asked for.”
Commenters found out the dress was made by a small U.S. business called Lele & Co, who have now issued a statement regarding the outrageous matter.
In response, the company has now taken the dress off its website and destroyed any remaining stock.
Their statement read: “I would like to express my deepest apologies for the inappropriate text found on one of the clothing items sold in my store.
“This particular piece was a resale item from a vendor, and regrettably, I did not catch the offensive wording before it was listed.”
It continued: “Please rest assured that this does not align with the values I uphold or support. We are in the process of taking any and all necessary legal actions against the vendor.
“For the record, the item in question has been promptly removed from my website and all social media accounts. All remaining stock was destroyed immediately.”
