This Is the Most Attractive Hobby a Man Can Have, According to Women
An astonishing 98.2 percent of women find men with his hobby most attractive.
Some of the most commonly-loved hobbies by men around the world include sports, camping, hiking, DIY, and gardening.
But there’s one hobby that men can have, that really gets the ladies going.
A new survey from Date Psychology, as per the Daily Mail, revealed exactly which one is most attractive.
And while personality and looks certainly matter when it comes to choosing your forever partner, it seems that what you enjoy doing in your spare time also matters.
But the list also detailed which hobbies are the least attractive.
According to the survey, drinking made it to the top 15 most undesirable recreational activities a man could indulge in.
And it’s pretty bad news for women trying to find a match, because 55 percent of the U.K.‘s male population drink alcohol at least once a week.
In a recent video on her YouTube channel, U.S. dating coach Courtney Ryan noted: “I do personally think it’s a huge turn off when someone can only have a good time if alcohol is involved or if someone makes this their entire personality.”
Comic books, cosplay, and debating were also up there with the least attractive hobbies a man can have.
But when it comes to the most attractive hobby, people may be shocked.
A staggering 98.2 percent of respondents said they find it appealing when a guy reads.
Other high scorers included painting, writing, photography, astronomy, hiking, blacksmithing, and archery.
And men themselves agreed that it all makes total sense.
One user on Reddit said: “The top of the list are all creative, physically active, or intellectually stimulating activities.
“The things on the bottom of the list are primarily about checking out and escapism.”
Another added: “Obviously, everyone enjoys a mix, but the idea of a person who does more of the top list items – who makes stuff, learns stuff, and is generally active and engaged – is going to be more attractive than someone who isn’t.”
But one user on the platform has some strong words of advise for those currently dating.
They noted: “What’s important is to do something you find fulfilling and enjoyable.
“If you are just doing it to impress other people, you are unlikely to stick at it.
“If you want to have good relationships and be attractive and likable, you should focus on doing things for yourself.”
And while they are very wise words, others just suggested the list was completely ‘ridiculous.’
