Viewers Hooked On ’10/10′ TV Show They’re Bingeing In Just One Day

The ’10/10′ TV series is quickly becoming one of the most talked-about shows of the year.

Amazon Prime Video’s latest spy thriller and family drama hybrid has landed on the streaming platform, and viewers can’t get enough.

The show premiered on August 13, with all six episodes released simultaneously.

Perfect material for binge-watching, some have suggested.

Its intense finale left audiences stunned, and has even sparked questions about what lies ahead for the cast and the future of the series.

The show follows the story of a former intelligence operative (played by Daniel Dae Kim), whose past comes back to haunt him when a spy organization sends someone to kill him.

The lead actor also served as an executive producer on the show, and hopes for a return to the series.

Speaking to TV Insider, Kim said: “I have lots of hopes for it.

“I hope there is a second season, first of all.

“But what I like about the show is that we’re already establishing that it’s an international show. So it makes the world our oyster.

“We could go anywhere.”

And it’s safe to say that the cast’s enthusiasm has only heightened anticipation among fans.

One viewer said: “Binged this overnight and this morning.

“This is a spy thriller that fires on all cylinders, delivering explosive action, deep emotion, and a cast at the top of their game.”

Another added: “Love the show! Action packed, family reunions, family problems, plot twists, fighting, etc.

“The show is great, from beginning to end it has action and thrilling moments.”

The choice to release all episodes in one go was to encourage binge-watching, which is certainly what some fans of the show have committed to.

One wrote: “Amazon Prime with another banger.”

“Started today, already hooked,” another commented.

As of mid-August 2025, Amazon Prime Video has not officially renewed the series for a second season, but viewers are hopeful.

The show has received generally favourable reviews, earning a well-respected 71 percent on Rotten Tomatoes.

The TV series also spotlights the relationship between the spy and his estranged daughter, Rebecca – a storyline that fans have really loved.

Speaking to Time magazine about how the relationship was framed, Kim added: “The most important thing about the storytelling was getting the relationships right.

“If we understand the dynamics of Rebecca and David’s relationship, the action flows as an extension of the relationship dynamics.

“There are some action shows where they just go from fight to fight to fight, and you can see that the connective tissue between them isn’t very strong.”

He added: “But for us, the emphasis was on making sure the relationships were complex and interesting, and that the fights were an expression of their own emotional conflict.”

Prime’s Butterfly has sure been a hit with fans, and Amazon can only hope to create an equally successful season two.
