Netflix Fans Hooked On ‘Best Crime Thriller Of 2025’ As They Binge ‘In One Sitting’

Netflix viewers are obsessed with the new ‘best crime thriller of 2025’ that has kept them on the ‘edge of their seat’ the whole time – and now, a second season has been announced.

If you’re looking for a new binge-worthy series on Netflix – look no further.

A brand-new six-part drama has been branded the ‘best crime thriller of 2025,’ after soaring the international charts.

It follows the story of Kyle Turner (played by Eric Bana), a special agent for the National Parks Service, as he takes on an investigation into a brutal death.

But it’s not just any investigation.

The incident sends Turner ‘on a collision course with the dark secrets within the park, and in his own past.’

Many viewers raced through the series, and are demanding that a second season should be in the works as soon as possible.

Just over the last week, the series has had 24.6million views, and 119.5m hours of watch time.

Rotten Tomatoes have scored the series 71%, but it’s safe to say that viewers are ranking it much higher.

Praising the series, one fan said: “Fast paced with startling turns of event.

“Well cast with believable portrayals of individual characters while still maintaining a ‘Hollywood pretty’ aesthetic. Yosemite is stunning.

“I hope there’s another season; get your friends and family to watch. It will be time well spent!”

Another viewer added: “This was a wild ride, and I was immediately drawn into it from episode one to an unexpected streaming binge that I am so glad I decided to dive in and go with flow on.”

A third hooked viewer said: “This is a fantastic series with great actors and a compelling storyline paired with breathtaking scenery, and shockingly unexpected twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat the whole time!

“Binged in one sitting.”

The new drama is titled Untamed, and despite no confirmation of a second season, rumors have spread like wildfire.

Co-showrunner, Elle Smith, told TV Insider: “If we got the opportunity to do it again, it would be getting to explore a different park, a different case.

“We would do this forever if they let us, but we’ll see.

“We’ll see how many adventures Turner has left in him.”

But as with most series’, not everyone has raved so highly about the crime thriller.

One slightly unimpressed viewer noted: “This isn’t super original, but it’s a really decent mystery.

“The story is pretty tight and logical. Good solid acting and the scenery is gorgeous. The first scene of the show had my pulse racing.”

It’s important to note that Untamed is technically a limited series, meaning that Netflix initially positioned it as a one-off.

But now, a second season has been confirmed by Netflix,
