Influencer’s Cause Of Death Confirmed After Being Found Dead On Tycoon’s Boat

A 33-year-old fashion designer’s cause of death has been revealed, after being found dead on a boat.

The body of Manhattan fashion designer Martha Nolan was recovered on July 5, after being onboard the Montauk Yacht Club.

Despite onlookers best attempts to resuscitate the 33-year-old, she was later pronounced dead by Suffolk County police.

Nolan was originally from Ireland, but moved to the U.S. at 26 to launch her swimwear business.

Her business partner Dylan Grace shared a sweet tribute to the entrepreneur.

Taking to Instagram, he wrote: “We dreamed big together, laughed harder than anyone else could understand and built so much for nothing.

“I’m truly blessed and grateful to have had you in my life.

“Love you so much Martha, fly high girl.”

Nolan’s cause of death has now been revealed.

At the time of the tragedy, there were reports of a naked man shouting about his ‘girlfriend’ attracting help from onlookers.

Her boyfriend has since been named as 34-year-old sales executive Nicholas DiRubio, but was confirmed not to be on the boat at the time of her death.

It was also revealed that the influencer filed for divorce from her former husband, Sam Ryan, earlier this year.

Nolan reportedly went to talk with Durnan, a well-known figure at the yacht club, prior to her death.

The 33-year-old had told her boyfriend that she was at a business meeting on the night she died.

In the hours leading up to her death, DiRubio noted that Nolan called him to say she was going to book an Uber and get home at around 1 a.m.

“It was just her and the boat owner on the boat,” a source close to her family told outlet Extra.ie.

“There is such a short timeline between when she made the call and when the 911 call was made.”

The source added: “Martha and her boyfriend went to Ireland at Christmas.

“He met her family and getting married would have been the next step.”

As revealed by the New York Post, Nolan’s cause of death is believed to be a suspected drug overdose, though it hasn’t been officially determined.

The day after her death, images of the boat revealed that there were remnants of a white substance on the seats.

The fashion designer was from a part of Ireland called Carlow, and the local councillor, Fergal Browne, said his thoughts and prayers are with her family.

He said: “The death of a young woman with her life cut short and who did have years ahead of her makes this so heartbreaking.

“Martha is from a long-established and highly respected farming family. It is so devastating for them all.”
