‘Disgusting’ Pic Of Kourtney Kardashian And Son Sparks Fury

Kourtney Kardashian has once again found herself at the centre of a parenting storm for a picture of her and her son.

It’s far from the first time her style has been called into question.

Over the years, fans have repeatedly accused the 46-year-old Kardashians star of making ‘dangerous’ decisions regarding her children.

Kourtney shares sons Mason, 15, and Reign, 10, plus daughter Penelope, 13, with ex Scott Disick, and is also mother to 21-month-old Rocky with her husband, Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker.

Travis also has two children – Alabama, 17, and Landon, 19 – from a previous relationship, who are now Kourtney’s step-kids.

But her parenting choices have sparked backlash time and again.

In October last year, Kourtney came under fire after then-eight-year-old Reign was photographed flipping the middle finger – not once, but in multiple snaps years apart, The Sun reports.

“I don’t think it’s hilarious! Bad behavior,” one follower slammed, while another declared: “Kourtney doesn’t know how to parent, every time I see her kids they’re always doing something bad.”

Again, last summer, Kourtney filmed Penelope and Reign riding in the back of Travis’ vintage Chevrolet convertible, without modern cross-strap seatbelts.

“Those seatbelts were scientifically proven to be unsafe, but okay. I guess the vibes matter more than anything,” one person said on Instagram. Another insisted: “Reign is [eight] he should still be in a booster seat.”

On a camping trip, Kourtney posted photos of 10-year-old Penelope near a tactical survival bow and bullseye target.

“Zero parental supervision,” one critic wrote, while another asked: “Why did you make your kid stand in the middle of a dangerous archery game?”

While filming a backyard tour for fans in November, Kourtney was interrupted by Reign shouting: “Mom come on the d**n trampoline!” – a moment that sparked debate over her children’s language use.

And on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, Kourtney admitted: “She’s [Penelope] slept with me every day since she was born and pretty much still does.” While some praised her for being ‘all-in’ as a parent, others called it ‘a little weird’ for a 10-year-old.

Now, Kourt is under fire for her parenting once more…

The most recent criticism came just days ago when Kourtney shared an Instagram photo dump from a family trip to Idaho.

One snap showed her on a boat, cuddling 21-month-old Rocky wrapped in a blanket, but with no life vest in sight.

“Great photo except for the fact the child has no life jacket on,” one commenter wrote.

Another added: “You can make those kinds of decisions for yourself. But don’t make a decision like that for your child. PLEASE.”

A third scolded: “C’mon Kourt. You both should be wearing life jackets. Everyone on that boat should be.”

The discussion spilled over to Reddit, where one critic called it ‘dangerous neglect’ and another pointed out: “Kids on boats should always be wearing appropriate life vests, and it looks like it’s sitting in the seat right next to them.”

Kourtney quickly addressed the uproar, updating her Instagram Story with: “Update: bought a life vest that fits! Good looking out. Honestly didn’t think about some of the dangers.”

She went on: “Thank you for making me aware and hopefully this helps make other mommies aware of the dangers of certain types of boating without a life vest.”

Her willingness to acknowledge the mistake won over many. “The calmest and collected response ever, she understood and will fix it,” one fan wrote on X.

“We love a person who learns from their mistakes,” another added, while a third praised: “Everyone makes mistakes, glad she’s open to feedback :)).”
