Elon Musk has turned to social media following claims made by author Ashley St. Clair, who stated that she and Musk had a baby together last year.
St. Clair, a right-wing influencer, took to Musk’s platform, X, to announce that she and Musk share a five-month-old child. On Friday, she revealed that she was breaking the news in order to get ahead of the mainstream media.
In her post, she said, “Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father. I hadn’t disclosed this before to safeguard our child’s privacy and safety. However, in recent days, it’s become evident that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it might cause. I aim to let our child grow up in a normal and safe environment. For that reason, I request that the media respect our child’s privacy and refrain from intrusive reporting.”
