Beyond the provocative choreography, Lopez used the Tenerife concert to debut a deeply personal new song that many interpret as a direct response to her recent divorce from Ben Affleck.

Introducing the track, Lopez told the audience: “This is a new song that I want to sing for the first time tonight that came to me when I was up all night one night. Shall we sing this one for the people?”

In what seemed like a definitive statement about her future, Lopez sang: “I won’t let you no longer, longer, ever say goodbye to me” and: “Now watch me climb out of the wreckage of you.”

She concluded by thanking her unnamed ex ‘for the pain that you caused,’ suggesting the experience had ultimately made her stronger.

The provocative performance comes as Lopez navigates life after her high-profile divorce from Ben Affleck.

The couple, who rekindled their romance in 2021 and married in 2022, filed for divorce in August 2024 on their second wedding anniversary.

In a May interview with El Pais, Lopez described the split as a ‘difficult time’ but expressed pride in how she had navigated the challenges.

Her backup dancers, showcasing their physiques in minimal clothing consisting of trousers and white corsets, served as willing participants in the provocative routine.

Despite the controversy, Lopez’s continues across Europe, with recent stops in Budapest and other major cities.

The tour represents a significant comeback for the entertainer, who canceled her 2024 U.S. summer tour amid personal struggles related to her divorce.
